The foolishness of greed and a troubled economy.

Om,

I am amazed that people are not troubled.  The prevailing though amongst Americans seems to be that as long as I can get mine, it’s all good.  This is a lie, things are not “ok”  How much debt do you have?  Do you have hard assets?  do you have cash on hand, how about gold and silver (real currency) if your world collapsed tomorrow what would you do, how would you survive?  Do you even have a store of food?
If you are like most Americans, your fortune and future are based on a lie and and like most, you are one paycheck away from calamity.  One medical emergency from disaster.
Do yourself a favor, eliminate debt, hold hard currency and SAVE.. Reject living this lie, more STUFF is just more slavery.  Feed the hungry, serve the weak and the sick and the widows.  Long ago a man asked God; ‘Am I my brother’s keeper’ ?  The answer was there, for those that can hear….it was a resounding YES, you are.

my letter to the president and both houses:
This so called crises is the result of trying to sustain an economy on “credit”  Sirs; even with your massive individual wealth can you live beyond your means, for the rest of your lives, never pay the bill and obtain more and more credit?   Who pays this bill?  Washington has spent the fortune of every man, woman and child in this country with it’s defect spending.  Our net debt at this moment is $5,797,849,595,482 that is approximately $30400.00 for every man woman and child in this country, and now you want to nationalize even more debt and add yet another 80 Billion to the backs of the tax payers.
Please, spare me the form letters and the rhetoric  about freeing up money by bailing out wall street, money isn’t being freed, credit is being freed, which is why we are where we are.  Stop this MADNESS!  Did you actually listen to the presidents so called solution? The key word he kept using was the word CREDIT! Sirs, as mature and educated men you surely realize  can not spend, spend, spend with no consequence, the bill eventually comes due.  This is the lesson that wall street is poised to learn.  Unfortunately Washington is headed down the same path.  How much of our country is secured to foreign powers by virtue of out of control spending?
Again, please do your duty, protect and serve the constitution of the United States and stop pretending to be bankers.

I am disgusted with Washington.

With Right Props and Stops, Clinton Transforms Into Working-Class Hero

“She’s a working mom,” Tracy Zettel, who works for a health insurance company, said Saturday while waiting for Mrs. Clinton to appear in Cary, N.C. “That’s what I am.

After a rally on Friday night, Ms. Glenn said: “I’m going home and doing laundry at 1 a.m. She’s not doing laundry.”

Seriously you consume sound bites and think it is truth. You consume advertising and opinion shaping and think you are having an original thought.
Do you honestly think ANYONE running for office has ANY thing in common with you, a person in the working middle class?
“She’s a working mom,” the article says….yeah a multi-millionaire, lying ass elitist that has nothing but contempt for you….
Just so you don’t make the mistake thinking I’m biased or a partisan I think the same thing about Obama, McCain, bush and the entire lot of them….
Other than base biological imperatives and basic human mechanical functioning, they have no commonality with the “people”
This kind of crap infuriates me, let me say it again;
Whether you realize it or not…You are a Sharecropper on the corporate plantation. Be awake, look around at the reality of the struggling poor and disappearing middle class and know, your apathy is part of the damn problem.

151 Congressmen Derive Financial Profit From War

Hat Tip to:www.americanfreepress.net

Who profits from the Iraq war? More than a quarter of senators and congressmen have invested at least $196 million of their own money in companies doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD) that profit from the death and destruction in Iraq.

Congressmen gave themselves a loophole so they only have to report their assets in broad ranges. Thus, they can be off as much as 160 percent. (Try giving the IRS an estimate like that.) In 2004, the first full year after the present Iraq war began, Republican and Democratic lawmakers—both hawks and doves—invested between $74.9 million and $161.3 million in companies under contract with the DoD. In 2006 Democrats had at least $3.7 million invested in the defense sector alone, compared to the Republicans’ “only” $577,500. As the war raged on, so did the billions of profits—and personal investments by Congress members in war contractors, which increased 5 percent from 2004 to 2006.
Follow the money. War is a racket that hides behind concepts like terror, patriotism, god and the like. It is greed in one form or another that fuels man’s need for war, greed is one of the highest forms of evil and there seems no end of it in our species.

GAO Report on Government Credit Card Abuse:

we the people need to take a serious look around, stop listening to the pundit-of-the-minute or the latest rabid talking head and TAKE AMERICA BACK!
I don’t know what has to happen in this country for people to wake the hell up and realize that these people, our elected officials, don’t necessarily have our best interests at heart. /to the contrary. what i see is a bunch of self serving elitists that think we are a part and parcel l of their personal fiefdom.

TAKE AMERICA BACK, THROUGH THE BUMS OUT!

My open letter:

Message sent to the following recipients:

[recipient name was inserted here],

Dear Sirs:

As a hard working American that has been taking painful steps in the past
few years to reduce my personal debt, I am disgusted by your excesses.

There is a much noise out here amongst the little people that our
government has been co-opted by self serving elitists and looking at the
list of abuses as reported by the GAO I am beginning to agree.

A couple of the things from the report I take umbrage with:
(1) $13,500 for dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Really? I have never been to Ruth’s Chris let alone spent the
equivalent of a part-time workers yearly wage on a meal. (2) $77,000 in
high-end clothing stores really? I’m lucky to get 3 or four pairs of pants
an shirts a year. $77 k is the wage of a middle class person, and this is
being spent on clothing?

If you haven’t noticed, we as a nation are in trouble. You are selling us
down the river of ruin by a disastrous monetary policy (fiat currency
printed by a foreign body, the federal reserve) We are burning our cereal
crops as a fuel (ethanol) amidst world wide food shortages. And the
people we elect to manage our affairs are spending money like drunken
sailors on their first leave.

Wake up and do your sworn duty, America and her people are not your
personal fiefdom. You no longer listen to your constituents, you are
destroying our wealth and good will, and spending fake money on an endless
list of abject uselessness that we the people have to repay with our
labor, blood and sweat to a central bank that has little or no oversight.

It needs to stop, repent and get back to sane government.

Angrily,

Edward D. Jones

The Government Accountability Office recently released a report entitled “Government Purchase Cards: Actions Needed to Strengthen Internal Controls to Reduce Fraudulent, Improper, and Abusive Purchases”. The report for the 2006 fiscal year detailed certain improper charges that were put on government credit cards. According to the report, the purchase card program has had success in increasing purchase efficiency. However, the report also notes that “…if not properly managed and controlled, use of the purchase cards results in fraud, waste, and abuse.”

  • the U.S. Forest Service–$642,000 worth of fraudulent use of convenience checks paid to cardholder’s live-in boyfriend
  • National Science Foundation–$1,800 worth of fraudulent purchases from a nail salon
  • USPS–$13,500 for dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
  • Department of Defense–$77,000 in high-end clothing stores

It’s called predictive programming folks. Desensitize a generation to accept the policies you plan to implement.
When those of us that remember the world the way it was are gone, the new world order will be in place and no one will remember freedom, liberty and a world where individual freedoms were a gift from God, not man.

airport and public spaces security. The device is both a fun toy and an
educational tool. It detects metal objects and simulates an X-ray scan via
a functioning conveyor belt that glides articles over its metal detector path.
When metallic items are present the unit beeps and lights up.
This unique toy/teaching aid provides ample amounts of
healthy fun along with education and awareness of the security measures that
people face in real life. A fun and educational booklet is also available upon

Abuse of authority continues unabated in the brave new world

Many activists have been screaming about the escalating violence being carried out by police departments around the world. Of course the anti conspiracy crowd says that there is no problem…well there is a problem and it is becoming chronic.
Communities where incidents like this occur need to rise up and confront their local district attorneys and demand justice and absolute adherence to the letter and spirit of the law. When an officer resorts to this flagrant abuse of power and actively sets about to conceal their crime they become violent criminals and should be adjudicated as such.
No one is above the law, if it protects some at the expense of others it is broken.

A police officer in Shreveport, LA has been terminated after an incident where a woman says she was beaten up. Angie Garbarino was taken in custody on suspicion of driving while under the influence last November.
Garbarino was put in a chair, and continues to tell the officer to get away from her. When she tries to leave a second time, the officer grabs her by the arm and jerks her out of the view of the camera. when the video continues, Garbarino is back in the chair. Seconds later it appears that the video is turned off or covered up. Authorities do not know what happened during that period of time, or how long the camera was turned off. When the camera turns back on, Garbarino is lying on her side next to a pool of blood. Officer Willis turns her on her back and tells her “Lay down, don’t move.
No criminal charges have been filed in connection with Garbarino’s injuries.

    The American Crisis

Posted on January 20th, 2008 by admin.

“What we obtain too cheap…” Indeed. We have forgotten that liberty and freedom are not free, they are hard won and easily lost. We as a people, a nation have turned our backs on God (what ever your concept), freedom, earned pride and the things that made us a once great people, we have given it away, traded our birthright as Americans for what? The illusion of safety, the icy comfort of things, the illusion of ownership and property when in fact we are the slaves. God save our once great republic.
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
    — Thomas Jefferson

THESE are the times that try men’s souls.

The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.

Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated.
